Green Energy Technologies has unveiled a new wind power generator. The device is capable of generating 60kW of rooftop power for commercial and industrial applications. The turbine captures and amplifies wind and can be installed in single 60kW or dual 120kW configurations.
The WindCube measures 22 x 22 x 12 feet and uses the Bernoulli Principal to generate electricity from the wind by concentrating the wind using a shroud, allowing the generator to make power with wind speeds as low as 5 mph.
This conveniently compacted smart energy unit simplifies the transport and installation as well as doubling the power generation capacity over a conventional wind tower whilst reducing the physical footprint and cost by half.
